RAINBOW

Rainbow is a nature or Meteorological phenomenon that happened because of reflection, refraction, and dispersion of light. Rainbow appears because sunlight always in the opposite position of the sun. Rainbow is a sequence of beautiful colors.

Actually, Rainbow have a circle shape. If we are in the high place or high position for example on the plane, we can see the whole shape. If we are in land, down place, and in bottom area we only see half circle shape of the rainbow.Usually rainbow appears when there is a rain but the sun lightning so well. That the reason why we always see rainbow after raining day. Not only on the raining day but also we can see rainbow on the waterfall or in the glasses when it gets light from sunlight. There are seven colors that make rainbow more beautiful; First color is Red, this color is on the top of rainbow. Second color is orange which is on the second place after red. Third color is yellow  which is on the third place after orange . Fourth color is green which is on the fourth place after yellow. Fifth color is blue which is on the fifth place after green. Sixth color is indigo which is on the sixth place after blue. The last color is purple which is on the most bottom place of the rainbow.

The Legend Of Ki Ageng Selo: The Lightning Catcher

Once upon time there was a man called Ki Ageng Selo. He was a kind and wise person. He spent all day with his imprisoned or lived as an ascetic, because he was a religious man in his life. Everyone respect, loved, and admired him. He lived in Demak city with his family and his neighbors. He was so kind, he never thought about glamour life. But he rich enough to give people surround him some rice and some food.

One evening in Demak, Ki Ageng Selo went to his field and farmed. But there was something bad happened. The sky became dark, rain was came when people having a routine activity same as Ki Ageng Selo. Suddenly, the lightning struck in the city loudly, people in the city became so scared with the sound. Their activity was stopped because of the lightning. The lightning struck some tree and field, people ran to the safe place. But Ki Ageng Selo did not go to the safe place, he still farming in his field, he ignored the lightning, rain, and the sound of scared people surrounding him. Suddenly everyone screamed when they saw Ki Ageng Selo hoeing and the lightning struck his hoe. Ki Ageng Selo was safe, he still standing but His hoe was fired. People surprised, because Ki Ageng Selo caught the lightning with his hand.  The lightning suddenly became a stone. Then, Sunan Kalijaga who was guardian said that the lightning stone which Ki Ageng Selo caught should not give water on it. Demak kingdom was rookery, people from far away visited Demak because they wanted to see the lightning stone. 

One day there was a woman, she was intruder of the crowd, she wanted to see the lightning which caught by Ki Ageng Selo.  The woman brought coconut shell to give water to the lightning stone. Rumble… BOOM…, the castle which had been a place to save the lightning stone was wrecked by the lightning explosion and suddenly, the woman disappear as fast as the lightning stone had explosion. Sunan Kalijaga said that the intruder woman who brought the coconut shell was a lightning woman, the lightning that Ki Ageng Selo had caught was a lightning man and they were a couple. Since then, lightning never strike in the Selo village because the lightning scared with Ki Ageng Selo.
